With the separtion of Los Bukis in 1995. The remaining members Joel Solis, Roberto Gudarrama, Jose "Pepe" Guadarrama, Eusebio "El Chivo" Cortez, ,and Pedro Sanchez decided to create a new music group called Los Mismos ( The same ones ) with a new singer named Pedro Velazquez which hasn't departed the group yet.
"The day that our singer Marco Antonio Solis leaves ,we will not be Los Bukis anymore. He will need from us as we will need from him too. Because, we are a group of people that have known each other really well for a long time and I see this separation pretty difficult or remote to happen". These were the words of Joel Solis (guitar player) in one of the TV interviews that they had with Luca Bentivoglio at Univision many years ago..
Unfortunately, if this seemed difficult or remote to happen it did happen and as of today all of the original Los Bukis members had departed from this group leaving Roberto Guadarrama as the only member of Los Bukis.    The first album this group released was called Juntos Para Siempre which featured the hit Me Esta Doliendo Dejarte ( Is hurting me to leave you). Los Bukis fans have diminished for Marco Antonio Solis as well as for Los Mismos because, it will never be the same.
